Desserts with tukmaria
Tukmaria and Oatmeal Pancakes
Ingredients (12 servings)
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups wheat flour
5 cups soy milk
3 tablespoons tukmaria seeds
powder cinnamon at taste
Preparation:
Blend all the ingredients until smooth.
Lightly grease a frying pan with oil, pour a little dough and spread it until very fine. Remove from the pan. Repeat the process until there is no more dough.
Serve with your favorite filling, either sweet or savory (suggestions: pumpkin jam, chocolate spread or stir-fried vegetables).
Almond and tukmaria pudding
Ingredients:
1 litre almond milk
1 tablespoon agar-agar
2 tablespoons tukmaria seeds
½ cup dried fruits (raisins, apricots, dates)
2 tablespoons grated coconut
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Preparation:
In a pan, bring the almond milk to a boil. (You can make the milk in the Midzu soya milk maker). Meanwhile, chop the dried fruit into small pieces. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and stir well. Allow to thicken a little and remove from heat. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate until solid.

You can put soaked takmaria on Vanilla icecreams, with Falooda and put a little roohafza or strawberry syrup on it to make the best kind of Falooda ice creams.
